Message from Fred Kaddu.

Growing up as an orphan was hard for my mother to pay my tuition at a certain point. Some good people offered to help me in order to get a good education.  I was lucky to attain a good education because there are many orphans who drop out of school at an early age.  These children don’t drop out of school because of their wish, but because they cannot afford to pay tuition, buy books, pens, pencils and other school materials.
It has always bothered me to see this happening to innocent children. I have always prayed that God may use me to bring joy to someone’s life by providing education to him/her the same way someone brought joy to me by paying for my education when my mom was having difficulty.  I have always believed that I can change the world if I can change one person’s life. If someone helped me, I can also help someone to reach somewhere and that person will do the same to someone else. Gradually a big change will be seen.

Some friends have already made monetary donations to buy books and pay tuition for some students.  You and I can change the world by helping the children to achieve education.  Father Ssemwange Joseph is Pastor based in Uganda. He is so happy about SMAC and is working hand in hand to coordinate and follow up with all the donations that go to help with the education of children at St. Joseph church in Uganda.  He has a team of three volunteers who have committed to help by visiting the schools where all the children that SMAC help. Fr. Ssemwanga’s team are Ms. Namuwonge Maria and Ms. Nakyonyi Lilian
As a team for SMAC, we look forward to committing ourselves to offer the best we can with the help of God.
